FAQs

Are you insured?

Yep! I’m fully insured and bonded in both New York and Texas, and can provide certificates as well as a background check upon request. Clients are also welcome to contact my veterinarian.

Wait… Why DFW and NYC?

I’ll admit, Texas and New York may sound like an odd duo.

I didn’t choose it, as much as it found me after I took a pet-sitting gig for two cats and a dog in the heart of Chelsea, NYC. That turned into recurring visits, which turned into their friends asking me to pet-sit, and before I knew it I was caught between the moon (oops, Texas) and New York City. (Bonus points if you are humming that song now!)

So while I live in Texas, my NYC pet friends have become a big part of my life.

Do you REALLY stay at my house around the clock?

My goal is to “live in” your home. I will be there at least as often as you are, but I try not to leave unless I have to. For stays of 7 days or more, I will make a grocery store run or meet my husband for lunch once or twice. If I have any other appointments, I will let you know ahead of time.

Do you administer medicine?

I have experience with administering eye drops, ear drops, oral medications (liquid and pills), delivering insulin injections, and dealing with post-surgical animals. Have any questions? Let’s chat!

Do you take care of other animals besides cats and dogs?

My specialty is “fur babies” (dogs and cats). But feel free to contact me about any fins/scales/feather-babies you have.

Do you offer grooming services?

I am happy to brush your fur babies, and will use pet wipes to clean paws, ears, or any other particular area you request. If your dog finds a mud puddle, I’ll be sure to clean them up, and I will always make sure they are dry after swimming or a walk in the rain.
